After initial contact, I meet with the spouse and family several times to carefully discuss their wishes and what they envision for the memorial. Taking time to get to know the family is at the heart of what I do, as it helps us create a ceremony that truly reflects the life and spirit of their loved one. Together, we will plan the flow of the event and the order of activities, ensuring it feels both meaningful and personal.

As part of this process, I design a beautiful memorial keepsake video using photos and videos collected from the family which can be viewed at the memorial and shared on thumb drives. We can also put the video on Youtube allowing family and friends who cannot attend in person to still feel included. I also provide a professional sound system and curate personalized music to accompany the memorial, creating an atmosphere of comfort and remembrance.

To support those who wish to speak, I prepare customized speaking prompts that make it easier for family and friends to share their memories. On the day of the service, I act as emcee, gently guiding the order of speakers and providing encouragement to those who share their reflections. Throughout, I remain present to support the spouse and family, helping them feel cared for so they can focus on being together.

I stay until the very end, assisting with clean-up and helping coordinate family members with tasks such as transporting flowers or food. My goal is to bring a sense of ease, compassion, and support to the entire process, so the family can honor their loved one in a meaningful and heartfelt way.
